Cross Point Kids

Cross Point Kids is built around a simple concept: Jesus is the hero. Each Sunday, your child will learn the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable and taught by committed volunteers and staff who serve Jesus by serving you and your kids. We also seek to help equip parents to train their children in the gospel through resources like family guides for our lessons, weekly activity books, and resources for Community Group leaders. Ultimately, the goal of Cross Point Kids is to get kids excited about Jesus and to get families talking about Jesus together throughout the week.

What to expect

When you walk in the door, you’ll see signage directing you to the Cross Point Kids check-in area.   For infants to 2 years old we offer a nursery time.   At the check-in area, you’ll be greeted by a volunteer or staff member who will help you register your children.  You’ll be handed a sticker with your name, your child’s name on it.

Security is important to us  when you pick up your child, we’ll make sure the numbers on your sticker and your child’s sticker match before dismissing them to or from the nursery.

All other children 3 years old to 3rd grade will check in at their classroom hall entrance.  We encourage the childen to get involved in Children’s Church.  During the offering time you will see on the screen and announced by the minister, when the children are dismissed.  You will see volunteer staff members waiting for your kids in the back of the worship area.  They will then lead the kids to Children’s Church.  We want the children to learn to sing praises to Jesus with their family and church family.   After the sermon is preached, and the worship has ended, the parents are asked to pick up their child from  the hall entrance that the child was signed into.

Should you ever have any questions, any member of our staff or any of our volunteers will be happy to help you! Also, if you have any questions about Cross Point Kids before attending a service, you can always contact any of the staff or pastors to find answers to those questions.
